Trip to the moon

So I just saw an old friend in Paris this summer. And seeing him reminded me of a story he told me that I thought was interesting and funny.

So there's this guy let's call him John, who was really in love with his girlfriend let's call her Louise. And their relationship was going on fine and they were happy and everything was good. But John really loved his girl and was really happy with her. He loved her soooo much that one day he came up to her and told her

"_Louise, I love you so much... tell me anything you want me to do, I'll do it for you

_John are you sure?
_You try me, anything.
_John are you seriously sure about this?
_Louise, I'm telling you just go ahead

_Ok... Well John if you insist, what I would really love is for you to bring me a piece of the moon."

So John, well, he got what he bargained for. He now had to go all the way to the moon to get this sample and bring it to Louise. But he was so determined, he started putting some money aside for this project. He eventually saved enough money and set out on this long trip. It took him several years but he made it all the way to the moon. When he managed to get a small rock from the moon he was ecsatic! He could only think about how happy she would be when she actually go this sample from the moon. Such a powerful token of his love.

So he got going on the long journey back home. All cheesing his thoughts pre-occupied with how happy she would be.

He finally made it back home, a couple years after he had embarked on this trip.

Unfortunately for him he came back to find Louise already married to someone else.

When he finally got a chance to sit down with her he asked her
"_But Louise, how could you do this to me? You ask me for a piece of the moon. I go get it and meanwhile you find nothing better to do than to get married with someone else.

_But John, you were gone for so long... And I didn't get any news from you... So I figured something had happened to you."
